Oh my lord. Where do you people get this stuff? Let's be clear: John is the premiere artist of our generation. I try and kick down some feedback when he makes a video so he can hear - assuming he cares - what one viewer thinks makes his material worthwhile.

If he shits on the commentary, great. I'm one voice amongst hundreds. I think he gets enough comments along lines like:

"Dang that was incredible."

So, I try and be a little more exact. I'm sure unspecific praise feels good, but, I invest a little more time and effort when I feel it's warranted.

Holden has such a small niche audience at the moment that, if executed poorly, he could remain nothing but a hero to about a thousand viewers who just want to see him take his shirt off and ramble off "fucked up" stories. I am betting he entertains greater hopes than that, so, I try and kick him down feedback which he might be able to further develop his craft and hit the jackpot with.
